Empowering foster and adoptive families raising Black children through culturally competent hair care, skin care, and identity-centered parenting training.
What started in 2018 as helping families care for their children's hair quickly grew into something much deeper — conversations about identity, culture, and what children truly need to feel seen and supported.
LaShanna Bruce recognized that while her for-profit work could educate and serve, there were families who needed support beyond what a business model could provide. Families who needed access. Families who needed resources. Families who needed community — regardless of their ability to pay.
That's why FAITH was born. Two organizations. One heart. Serving families where they are — with no barriers in the way.
